Furniture is the decoration of the house. Furniture has many contributions in enhancing the beauty of the house. Not only does it enhance beauty, furniture also plays an important role in many needs in family life. As the furniture of the house is arranged, clean and tidy, the beauty of the house will remain intact. Furniture needs proper maintenance and care to keep it beautiful and durable. Furniture is a must to take care of furniture during summer. Let's know how we take care of furniture during summer.

Do not place the furniture in the place of the house where direct sunlight falls, it will burn the color of the furniture very quickly. Moreover, if it is wooden furniture, then the possibility of cracks in the wood is high.

Do not allow dust to accumulate on the furniture. Try to keep the furniture clean as much as possible. Clean the furniture regularly with a dry cloth.

Never clean furniture with wet cloth or water. This may stain the furniture. If you have to clean with a wet cloth, squeeze the cloth well and soak it in water. If you wipe with a wet cloth, then wipe it with a dry cloth so that water does not stick to the furniture.

Many types of insects appear in summer. Care must be taken to ensure that insects do not damage the furniture. After a few days you can spray neem oil to get rid of insect infestation. If you still see an infestation, remove it as soon as possible to prevent the infestation from spreading.

You can polish the furniture if the color of the furniture gets lost in the hot sun during summer. To keep wooden furniture shiny, you can polish it every 3 to 6 months. Matching sew polish is very useful in this case.

Care must be taken when moving furniture from one place to another. If something is damaged, try to fix it immediately.

Do not place anything hot directly on the furniture as it may damage the furniture. Also do not use cold water glass or cold water bottle directly without tray.

Protect from sunlight

If the furniture of your living room, dining room or bedroom room is exposed to strong sunlight for most of the day, then there is no problem, such as color fading, or even cracks in the furniture. Therefore, it is better not to place the furniture in a place that gets direct sunlight or keep it in a place that does not get sunlight.

Use furniture covers

It is not possible to move any furniture in the place and you can put thick curtains in the place where sunlight comes through. Sunlight destroys the color of sofa and any furniture. So use covers on the furniture and make sure that the covers fit the furniture well.

The humidity

Cracking of wooden furniture in the house is a problem due to increased humidity. Air conditioner can be used to maintain proper humidity in the room. Do not keep anything in the house that gets too hot from being turned on.

Ways to protect against mosquitoes

The biggest enemy of wooden furniture is moths. In summer, there is a possibility of bed bugs breeding in the furniture. Use appropriate pest control if bed bugs are found on any furniture in the home. If not, the possibility of damage to that furniture by bedbugs increases as well as other furniture in the house can be attacked by bedbugs.
